How to print with only black ink?

1. Select the document or text you want to print. If you want to print the page, only emphasize the text you are interested in in print, leaving the colorful banner ads and sidebars. 2. Click "File" and select "Page Settings". Depending on the type of document you want to print, this may give you the option to set the printout to black and white. For example, in Microsoft Excel, the Table TAB has an option for Black and White. 3. Go to File. Then click "Print". What you see on the screen will depend on your printer and Settings. Open the "Properties" window to access your printer Settings in the most detail. 4. Look at the options available in printer properties. Select black and white to print a document or print a color image as a black and white image, which should be one of them. This is usually in the "Advanced" option. 5. Change the Settings to "Black and white" for printing and printing documents. If you want this to be your default setting, open the "Devices and Printers" window on your computer and open the options for your printer. Adjust print options to print in black and white by default.
